Gandikota Waterfalls: A Hidden Gem Near the Grand Canyon of India
Many gandikota tourist do know that there exist a waterfalls in gandikota and for those who know also dont know the way to falls. The road is not proper do careful if you are going by bike. On the way to waterfalls you will have the best views of mylavaram dam back water.
From gandikota view point 1 the water falls is roughly 2.3 kms and you need to hike to gandikota waterfalls. The waterfalls here is seasonal and you all know which season.
Serious Note: Do not get into deep waters if you don’t know how to swim. It is dangerous and many casualties happened previously.
There is no direct rout from view point 1. you have to go back to fort, from there to Shivalinga restaurant and you will find a way opposite to shivlinga restaurant. Go through the road and follow the trails which is mostly used for waterfalls only.
The waterfalls here comes in 3 levels where the falling water goes from one level to another level and at the end into penna river.
You can also visit the falls when there is no water as its one of the beautiful places for eyes to see the canyon.
The waterfalls is one of the must visit place in gandikota and if you are camping at gandikota then you need to take a dip here to fresh up yourself because its public washrooms for camping.
